Take the first step to becoming a CASA advocate:

VOLUNTEER!

CASA 101: Information Session in Comanche on 4th Thursday of month. Please call CASA office at 325-643-2557 if you plan to attend.

Join us at Mattdaddy’s on the Courthouse square at 5:30 PM.  Learn more about CASA in the Heart of Texas and how you can make an impact on children from our community in substitute care because of abuse or neglect.  CASA volunteers provide best interest advocacy on behalf of these children.  A CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) works to make sure their appointed child/children are safe and well cared for in foster care.  CASAs work to make sure the children are back in a safe, nurturning, permanent home at the earliest possible opportunity.  CASAs spend a lot of time engaging their child and talking to everyone involved in the case to learn and advocate for their child’s needs to be met.  CASA volunteers report important information and make recommendations to the court.  CASA volunteers make a difference for children who truly need them.

Find out more about becoming a CASA or helping in other ways at CASA 101.  If  you can’t make our meeting, call our staff at 325-643-2557.  Do you have what it takes to become a CASA?
