CASA 101: Information Session
BEING A COURT APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATE FOR CHILDREN IS A WORLD-CLASS VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Perhaps you’ve thought about being a CASA Volunteer but wondered, “What all is involved, what skills does it require, what is the time commitment, what kind of training do they provide, what would I gain from it or get out of it, or would I really be able to make a difference?” If you would like to consider becoming a CASA but have had any of the above questions, please join us for our next informational meeting to get some answers and help you as you consider taking this step.
DATE: May 10, 2018
TIME: 6:00 PM
PLACE: Family Services Center building, 901 Avenue B, in Brownwood
We’ll have some refreshments, a presentation, some question and answer time, and information about how to apply and the process to become a volunteer if you are ready to proceed. We normally conclude the meeting within an hour. Please come and bring a friend. If possible, give me a call or e-mail me to let me know to expect you. Joanne, 325-643-2557 or casa.tr@familysc.net.
