Richard LaVallo has been with Disability Rights Texas, the protection and advocacy system for Texans with disabilities, for more than 25 years. In addition to representing persons with disabilities in a wide range of individual and systemic issues, LaVallo has worked on numerous legislative and public policy issues dealing with education, guardianship, mental health, foster care and juvenile justice.
